I’m very excited to share the story behind my collaboration with Kitz Heimat, where I had the opportunity to design and crochet a special fawn toy. The design process began with inspiration from Kitz Heimat’s own logo, which features a charming fawn. I wanted to stay true to their brand identity while adding a soft, playful touch that would resonate with children. After studying the logo, I created several sketches, reimagining the fawn as a toy with their characteristic dots. Once the sketches were ready, I started experimenting with patterns, carefully adjusting them until the toy captured the spirit of the original design.

Bringing this design to life through crochet was a process that required patience and precision. I worked entirely by hand, using the same organic materials to create a soft, safe, and environmentally friendly toy. The fawn’s dot pattern, along with its elegant collar, was crafted to be both imaginative and comforting to hold. Translating the logo into a tangible toy that blends Kitz Heimat’s branding with my interpretation of a real fawn was a rewarding challenge, resulting in a creation that feels both timeless and meaningful. I am very grateful for this opportunity—I created Ruby the Rehkitz with all my heart, thinking of the beauty and fragility of fawns in nature.

What makes this collaboration even more meaningful is Kitz Heimat's dedication to giving back. For every sale of the Ruby Rehkitz, they donate €2 to the Rehkitz-Rettung Hannover e.V., an organization that works to protect fawns in the region. Knowing that my design contributes to this cause brings me immense pride, as it connects the creativity and craftsmanship behind the toy with a purpose that directly supports wildlife conservation. This partnership has been a beautiful blend of creativity, sustainability, and giving back to nature.

We will soon have the Ruby Rehkitz on our webshop and donate €2 to the Rehkitz-Rettung Hannover e.V. from each sale of the Ruby.

Since 2019, 3.150 Charitable products have been sold at Smallable stores donated 10% of profits from the sales to "Un Enfant par la main", a charity aiming to protect children and uphold their rights so that they can become independent, responsible adults.

For this collaboration, we are happy to introduce our exclusive "Bowie The Bow Tie Bear" handcrafted with love! This limited-edition creation is not just a cuddly companion but also a symbol of our commitment to sustainability and giving back.
